Like I said, there was hardly any snow. This snowman took a loooong time to make. We had to roll the head ball on the car to get enough snow to stick. Ryan was thrilled with it though and enjoyed watching it melt over the next couple days.
Just this last Saturday we got some real snow. For about three or four hours Saturday night it was blizzard conditions and we loved watching the snow fall down. Ryan was anxious to get outside to build yet another snowman but the next day was Sunday and had church. This afternoon we finally got our chance to bring Frosty to life while Brady was taking a much needed nap.
This snowman was twice the size of our first one and took less than half the time. One roll across the yard got us the biggest snowball. In fact the snowballs got so big so fast that we ended up with a huge head. A normal snow hat wouldn't fit so we had to go the baseball hat route. The only way Ryan would agree to let me take his picture is if he got to take my picture. Ta da!
After a quick snowball fight we headed in for some hot chocolate (or lukewarm chocolate in Ryan's case).
These are the winter days I anticipated when we decided to move back to Utah. We are hoping for many more to come!

I am entitling the last picture on this post "Satisfaction". So glad you got to enjoy the snow!
We totally did "lukewarm hot chocolate" last week too! Now Colton is hooked and asked for hot chocolate with "cocoa" 5 times a day :) I love that cheesy grin with all those marshmellows.
Cute snowmen!
Jill is really into hot chocolate right now.
We still aren't having a "real" winter. We did have an ice storm last week, but no lasting snow. They haven't even really had to wear their coats that often, because it keeps going back up into the fifties. So weird.
