Happy Birthday Logan!

We had the pleasure of going to Utah this past weekend to celebrate our favorite nephew, Logan's first birthday! It was such a treat to spend the weekend at Ky and Geoff's and just enjoy each other's company. Zach's parents were also there and it was so fun to be together with them as well. We missed Kristen and Jason. They had a ski trip to Jackson Hole that same weekend; we tried to be good sports about it, but let's be honest, we were all a little jealous. :) Hope to catch you guys next time we are in Utah!

Logan turned one on Saturday. The day started off with some of Kylene's delicious sweet potato pancakes.

Then it was time to open a some presents. Logan was happy to play with his brand new car. Ryan was happy to eat the left over wrapping paper. And eat it he did. I finally had to take it away from him, he had glitter all over his face and in his mouth! That afternoon we went to a Children's Museum with Logan, Ky and Geoff. It was such a fun place! Logan was walking all over the place and Ryan just took it all in from Zach's arms. We made sure to take a lot of pictures there. Get ready, set, go!

On Sunday we went to Ky and Geoff's ward. Ryan doesn't nap well when we are traveling so he was really tired by the time Sunday rolled around. he spent all of third hour in Zach's arms snuggled in close. He slept through all of Sacrament meeting and then took a two hour nap when we got home. He had some serious catching up to do!

It was no secret that we were from Vegas, here is Ryan on our walk from church to the car and yes, he is wearing a short sleeved shirt with two feet of snow on the ground...

Happy Birthday Logan!!!

Aww that looked like a lot of fun! That's great that you got to see Zach's parents, too. I can't believe it's almost time for Ryan's birthday! He's cute in his sleepy Sunday pictures, and he definitely looked like he was having a blast at the place with the big blocks. I think you said it was a museum? How fun to see pictures of Logan and Ryan side by side. Sometimes I thought Ryan looked older.
