Our Visit to Virginia

Ryan and I were lucky enough to go home to Virginia for a few days (March 12-17). My sister Anne went into the MTC on March 18th and we got to go to VA for her farewell talk in church. It was great to be home with family and for Ryan to spend time with his Grandmas and Grandpas and Aunts and Uncle Chris. We spent most of the time at my house, but Ryan got to spend an evening with his Grammy Pam (Zach's mom) and enjoyed sitting with her during church on Sunday. Ryan also loved seeing so much of his Aunt Lindsey. I didn't take nearly enough pictures, like always. But here is a run down of our trip with the pictures I managed to take...

We got to visit the adorable miss Chantilly Poulton and her beautiful mom, Brittany! (see post below)

We ate lunch and went shopping with my best friend Kathryn, who looks fabulous by the way. We miss you already K!

We went out to dinner with Zach's mom and dad! Great food and great company! Notice Ryan stuffing his face in this picture. It pretty much sums up the night for him. He loved all the scraps that Grammy Pam slipped him! Although, he almost met his doom when he snuck a giant piece of lettuce off of Lindsey's plate and started choking. No one even saw him put it in his mouth! He's a speedy little fella!
Oh yes, and Lindsey was there too. We love her.

Ryan loves his Grandma and Grandpa Bellows!

Unfortunately, the time came for us to leave. Anne, my mom and I left for Utah on Tuesday, March 17th. My dad was already out in Utah for business so that left Lindsey all by herself for the rest of the week! She was even alone on her birthday! She is such a trooper. We miss her, but are excited for her to spend spring break in Vegas starting on April 3rd! Wahoo!

We spent St. Patrick's Day on the plane. I made sure to have Ryan wear his festive shirt and I let him wear his green dinosaur pajama bottoms to make him even more "St. Patrick's Daysie". He was really good on the 4 and a half hour flight. He was a little fussy at first, but after he got a little nap he was as pleasant as ever! He sure is a good baby!

***In other news, Ryan finally had his first tooth break through. It is still just a little stub of a tooth, but it is definitely there! And, no, he hasn't bitten me... yet.
