Big ...boy... Changes

There are some big boy changes in the Bellows' house this week. The biggest and most exciting change is that Ryan is now sleeping in a big boy bed! We set it up today and he was so excited to try it out. He loves it! I couldn't help but sneak in and take a picture of him sleeping during his nap.
He took a nice long nap and when Zach went in to get him he offered to pick Ryan up and Ryan said, "No Dad, I can get down by myself!" I was a little nervous to make the switch, but just like every other transition with Ryan things have gone seamlessly. He is so easy.

After coming home from the grocery store this evening, Ryan was anxious to go see his Lightning McQueen bed. He sat up in his bed all evening until it was bed time. When I went to check on him he was laying on his pillow driving his train along the edge of his bed. he made Zach take all his stuffed animals out of the crib and line them up along the bottom of the bed.

I don't think we will have any trouble keeping him in bed. Getting him out of bed, however, is another story.
We also found out this week that Ryan will be getting glasses in the next couple weeks. We went to the optometrist and found out that Ryan is far sighted. We picked out some cute glasses at Costco and they should be ready to pick up in two weeks. Hopefully Ryan will like them and will wear them without too much of a fuss. He is sure to be the cutest little "four eyes" ever.

Next big boy goal on the list: Potty Training.

Cross your fingers!

Ryan looks so OLD! He sure is cute! (As is Brady, of course.) Glad the transition to the big boy bed is going well...hopefully it will stay that way! (Tucker did really well for the first two weeks & then realized the freedom of being able to get out on his own, which has taken some major sleep training to work on. Hopefully Ryan will just do great without any problems!)
