Pops was here.

Pops made his annual Vegas trip this past week and we were lucky enough to see him! We met him on Thursday and Friday. Thursday we had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe and let Ryan swim in the jacuzzi tub in Pops' hotel room- just like last year.

On Friday we went swimming! It brought back memories from two years ago when I went swimming at New York New York with Ryan. Brady was very hesitant about the water, but by the end of the evening he was splashing and smiling- as long as I was holding him tight. Ryan loved it. He loved jumping out to Zach and watching the roller coaster go by.



After swimming we went over to the Excalibur and ate dinner at Baja Fresh. Then we rode the tram back and forth between the Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. It was the highlight of Ryan's week. He was so excited to ride in a train.

Last week Pops was in Hawaii and he brought back lots of treats involving chocolate and macadamia nuts. We were all in chocolatey-nut heaven. It was awesome.

These boys love their grandpa! I was so impressed with how easily Brady warmed up to Pops. He has entered a stranger anxiety phase and pretty much freaks out whenever I hand him off to anyone, but he was perfectly content on Pops' lap.



We will miss our Vegas rendezvous next May when we are in Utah. Thanks for everything Pops! We miss you already!
