Merry Christmas! Now Let's Eat!

Today we decided to have a Christmas Party at work (read: bring in a bazillion treats, order pizza and eat ourselves sick). The faculty had a Christmas Party and didn't invite any of the secretaries. Having just watched the Benihana's Christmas episode of the Office last night, I saw this as an excellent opportunity to out party the faculty just as Pam and Karen out partied Angela. Interestingly enough, our parties were scheduled at the same time right across the hall from each other. Ours was clearly a superior party. There was tons and tons of food and fun conversation. We even attracted some of the faculty over to our party. They attracted none of us to theirs. Here are some pictures of the festivities. (Notice the sweet action shot above of me stuffing my face. Awesome.)

My lovely coworkers.

Some more of my wonderful coworkers.

Dr. Hansen's visit didn't slow Christina down one bit. That's what I like to see.

Our success was evident in that we only attracted the coolest professors.

Group shot! Kristine is on her cell phone... typical.

Merry Christmas!

Secretary party! Good choice! I'm glad Drs. Hansen and Jacobs came-- you did only attract the coolest professors :)

LAME that the professors didn't invite you or plan a "joint party" for the department.

That's funny that Kristine (not that I am on a first name basis with her) was on her phone in a group picture. Did she not know what was going on, or does she not know the phone-picture social ettiquette? Either way, she looks friendly enough.
